Data Deletion Request

NGO Setu users can request deletion of their account and related app data using the process below.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your NGO Setu account data, send an email to info@ngosetu.in from your registered contact details.

Include These Details

Please include your registered mobile number, NGO/Trust/Society name, website slug or website URL if available, and a short statement saying that you want your NGO Setu account data deleted.

What Data May Be Deleted

After verification, we may delete or anonymize account profile data, NGO profile details, activities, events, team records, member records, donor records entered by the NGO admin, objectives, projects, audit reports, important pages, uploaded files, and generated website data linked to that account.

What May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, backup, or compliance purposes. Backup copies may take additional time to be fully removed from all systems.

Donation Records Notice

NGO Setu does not directly collect, hold, process, or distribute donation funds. Donation/payment disputes or refund requests must be handled directly with the concerned NGO. Data deletion does not reverse or refund any donation made to an NGO.

Processing Time

We will review deletion requests and respond within a reasonable time, usually within 7 to 15 working days after verifying account ownership and the requested data scope.
